Role Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for initiating conversations with prospective new clients and identifying operational, security, or compliance risk that warrants a deeper conversation with an Account Executive (AE). This role focuses on finding qualified new meetings, not necessarily volume or closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and engage prospects within our Ideal Customer Profile
- Conduct Risk Discovery conversations
- Identify business risks or pain-points leadership cares about
- Submit meeting requests for AE review (leader-first model)
- Log activity and insights accurately in Salesforce
- Participate in weekly coaching and call reviews
- Leverage business development tools and automation
What This Role is Not:
- Closing deals or carrying a revenue quota
- Pitching services, pricing, or contracts
- Running full discovery or scoping solutions
- Negotiating or rescuing deals
How Success is Measured:
- Sales-Accepted Meetings (SAMs)
- AE acceptance rate
- Quality of meeting preparation and notes
- Salesforce hygiene and follow-through
- Weekly activity metrics achieved

Qualifications:
- 0–3 years experience in sales or related roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with outbound outreach
- Salesforce experience preferred but not required
