Senior Account Manager- Raleigh/RTP 

Katalyst is actively looking for an Account Manager with experience to play a leading a role in growing our business in the Raleigh area. This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience
in selling technology solutions to mid-market or enterprise organizations. Excellent presentation, lead generation, proven “closing” abilities are a must. We are looking for a sales veteran that can develop business in this new market, evangelize our value proposition, and put numbers on the board!

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Industry experience in information technology, telecommunications or e-business

  • The process and technique to hunt

  • Industry experience in selling Cyber Security, Collaboration, Networking and Data Center.

  • Specific industry sales experience in selling Cisco, Microsoft, NetApp and VMware solutions or comparable technologies.

  • Experience in business-to-business consultative selling

 

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • BA/BS degree


  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for customer service


  • 5 years sales experience of technical sales

  • Proficient in the value based selling model

 

Responsibilities:

  • Exceeding gross profit quarterly quota


  • Bringing in new clients with strategic demand generation campaigns

  • Mastering Katalyst sales process


  • Presenting Katalyst’s methodologies and service offerings to prospective clients

  • Developing and/or maintaining extensive product knowledge


  • Conducting initial needs analysis for prospective clients


  • Managing Katalyst’s proposal process


  • Customer satisfaction with existing clients handling contract negotiations
