Position Description: 

The Systems Engineer - Collaboration will be primarily responsible for the detailed design, deployment and support of IT infrastructure projects for clients. Qualified candidates will serve as a technical authority in collaboration architectures and their deployment with experience translating client business needs into technology specifications. This engineer may be called upon to assist in the sales cycle and provide solutions engineering, analysis in conceptual designs, client meetings, product research, etc. 


Responsibilities/ Job Function:  

  • Provide technical consulting services for Information Technology collaboration projects. 

  • Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of Unified Communication systems, infrastructure and related product for clients. 

  • Ability to design and execute project plans for system builds, migrations, integrations and customization while accounting for risk and forecasting technical issues.  

  • Implementing test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans. 

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems. 

  • Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describing the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions. 

  • Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives. 

  • Deliver project responsibilities in line with project plan. 

  • Contribute to product development and written proposals. 

  • Assist Account Managers during the sales process. 

  • Assist in the management of projects using project management methodology. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned and required. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but are not limited to the duties described above.

  • CCNP - Collaboration required or equivalent experience  

  • Experience/proficiency in Contact Center Express  

  • Scripting and Agent Work flow highly desired  

  • Significant experience in deployment of Cisco collaboration products required  

  • Experience with Cisco video preferred  

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience  

  • 5-7 years experience in information technology; at least 2 in consulting environment preferred
