Position Description: 

We're looking for a Career Development Manager to join our team.   This team member will work closely with leadership in recruiting top talent, play a key role in onboarding team members, collaborate with management and employees on professional development roadmaps that include coordination of training and networking events as well as work with our business partners in aligning programs to the strategic direction of the company. If you're a team player with an eye for acquiring and developing great talent who loves connecting people and opportunities, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities/ Job Function:  

  • Cultivate key relationships over the long-term with best-in-class talent and evangelize the Katalyst culture to focus on hiring top performers over the long-term.

  • Collaborate with teams to deeply understand hiring needs

  • Develop unique full hiring strategies and interview criteria for each role

  • Source qualified candidates, review resumes, and prescreen candidates while moving interview process forward in a timely manner

  • Organize and facilitate interview debriefs

  • Drive offer approval, extension and negotiation

  • Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible

  • Manage candidates in process and provide them with a positive experience

  • Build upon the Katalyst onboarding process and act as an internal advocate in the successful acclimation of new team members to incorporate them into the Katalyst culture.

  • Work closely with Katalyst management in tailoring a learning roadmap for individual team members that aligns with both the company’s organizational goals and the individual team member’s professional aspirations.

  • Work with Katalyst leadership on departmental enablement roadmaps for group training, collaborative learning sessions, and creative interdepartmental brainstorming meetings.

  • Track, coordinate and drive strategic partnership programs as well as cultivate key relationships with channel liaisons to drive development investments from our partners to Katalyst.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years of technical sourcing, recruiting or HR experience required

  • Proven track record for assessing talent beyond matching key words on a resume

  • Proven experience in building and managing a diverse pipeline

  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels

  • Must thrive and prioritize in a constantly changing environment

  • Bachelor's degree
