Katalyst will hire an Account Development Managerpossessing a gritty “can do” attitude to help organizations achieve long term and meaningful goals through technology enablement. This role requires a solid foundation in business development along with some technical knowledge or working experience to build upon. As an Account Development Manager at Katalyst we will provide a career roadmap to set you up for success entering the lucrative, consultative world of outside technology sales. By month 13 of your career at Katalyst, you will be a fully functioning field-based Account Manager, driving business outcomes from our technology suite with clients and prospects in an assigned territory. 

Job Functions:  

  • Adhere to a defined professional roadmap that includes independent study, shadowing, and ultimately showcasing proficiency in the variety of skills required for consultative technology sales.

  • Support the sales organization in achieving quarterly sales and service objectives. 

  • Work closely with Marketing to drive new business through strategic business development campaigns. 

  • Cultivate deep relationships with existing clients and new prospects by acting as their advocate in adding value to their organization.

  • Collaborate closely with your assigned senior, field-based representative as well as the overall sales team in driving upsells in Katalyst’s Services, Software, Products and Programs.

  • Work to maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction. 

  • Assist with entering pre-sales requests, post-sale order processing tasks and any client follow-up tasks as directed by sales team.

  • Build proposals, quotes, review contract terms and negotiate prices while handling objections along the way.

  • Leverage our current network of partner affiliates while growing these relationships through participation in industry events. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned and required. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but are not limited to the duties described above.

 

 

Qualifications/Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of sales experience.

  • Experience working in the Technology industry highly preferred. 

  • Cisco or Microsoft product and service offering knowledge a plus.

  • Salesforce and QuoteWerks experience a plus.

  • Strong problem solving and client service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
