Presales Engineer – Virtualization & Storage

Katalyst Network Group is seeking a Presales Engineer with a strong background in virtualization, storage, and data-center technologies. This involves presales design and delivery of best-of-breed data-center storage, computing, virtualization and networking solutions.

Specifically:

Performing Enterprise Virtualization presales design and implementation services
Performing Enterprise SAN presales design and implementation services
Performing Enterprise NAS presales design and implementation services
Performing SAN/NAS Data Migration presales design and implementation services
Assess, Design, and Implement enterprise-wide Data Center solutions for diverse customer base.
Perform customer-premises assessments and presentations.
Stay current with emerging technologies as they mature.

Requirements:

Be a subject matter expert on Enterprise Storage and Virtualization solutions for SAN/NAS, Virtualization, Data-Center Networking, Backup, and Disaster-Recovery.
Have comprehensive experience in the strategy, process and the methodology required to enable business transformation through technology advancement.
Possess a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with the following systems, network and storage and virtualization manufacturers: Cisco, EMC, and VMware.
Possess a wealth of expertise on standards, architectures, technology frameworks, solutions and best practices for multi-tiered enterprise virtualization environments.
Have experience engineering solutions to help create high performance storage environments that support both virtualized and non-virtualized workloads.
Have experience engineering solutions for various SAN storage platforms.
Strong technical knowledge of data center compositions and disaster recovery strategies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
